Mari Padilla is from Puerto Rico and currently lives in New York City. She studied fashion design at Parsons-The New School for Design, during which time she began her career as a fashion blogger. She continued her studies at Instituto Marangoni in Milan, graduated with a Design Master’s Degree. She founded her personal blog known as The Eccentric Misfit,  then  moved beyond the blogosphere to launch her brand The Eccentric Label.

She has since working with different  brands in New York. Mari has been responsible for several long-term successes in the social media environment. She is actively involved in the women luxury fashion community in New York, and serves as a board member of a non profit organization.
